On March 15, 2010, a tragic event took the life of a great man. James A. Kerstetter was not just a son, husband, father, friend, and police officer; he was a beacon of light in our community. In July of that same year, an event was created to honor and remember Jim's legacy. Now, sixteen years later, the Kerstetter 5K has evolved into more than just a memorial; it has become a symbol of unity, remembrance, and community support, embraced by countless individuals and organizations.
CCC will be participating in the 16th Annual James A. Kestetter Memorial Run. If you’d like to join a training group please contact Jen or Brett. Jen will be meeting with beginner runners/walkers on Saturdays at 10:30 AM and Brett will be meeting intermediate/advanced runners on Sundays at 2:00 PM. Please contact the church offices for more info on the groups.
