Daniel Fast
We believe that it is advantageous and beneficial to begin each year, by seeking the Lord in a Season of Prayer and Fasting. The goal of fasting and prayer is to draw near to God. It hits the reset button of our soul and renews us from the inside out. We encourage fasting for 21 days each year in the month of January. This is part of our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting season beginning January 10th —31st.
There are several types of fasts. There is SELECTIVE FASTING, which removes certain items from your daily diet. One such fast is a Daniel Fast, removing meats, sweets, and breads from your diet. It may involve removing a specific item that you typically enjoy eating. Another type of fast is a PARTIAL FAST, which would be refraining from food during certain times of the day. Then there are SOUL FASTS, Which would be fasting types of entertainment, or social media.
We hope that you’ll join us, no matter what method of fasting you choose.
21 Days of Fasting and Prayer
Join us in this daily devotional plan during our season of Fasting and Prayer! Pastor McKinney mentioned a reading plan that you can read using the YouVersion Bible app. The devotional is linked below and you can participate in the reading plan on your smartphone or on your computer.

Christmas Services at CCC
During the month of December, we will begin a 4-week series entitled Behold a Savior Is Born. This series reflects on the fulfillment of hundreds of years of prophetic predictions about the coming of the Messiah who would change the world. God's people waited for a Savior who would come to rescue and restore a broken creation. They held onto the hope that God would stay true to His promise. With joy, they anticipated Christ’s arrival. As a humble servant, Jesus loved all He encountered from the cradle to the cross. The world would know the peace of God, who had come near. Behold, our Savior is born, the world will never be the same.
